Two squadrons from our group and 2 squadrons from the 301st went to Bizerta this morning. It is such a lovely day. The sun is shining and everything is drying out. I just would like to lie down out in the sun and doze. I sure do like it down here. If only the food situation would improve. Guess it will as soon as our communications get going good. The meals are getting a little better though. Days like today sure make me feel good. Wish there were some little streams so that I could easy off and go fishing. It’s isn’t bad here. Only thing is that we’re too far from the places we are going to bomb. Guess we will be moving up nearer the fighting pretty soon. Be glad when this is over and I can get back to the states. I’m beginning to get kinda fed up with this business of fighting.
We moved into a pretty nice place this afternoon. I wouldn’t mind staying here for a while. Maybe we will & Maybe not.
Still miss my girl friend. Got paid today in American money. Sure seems funny to be paid with it again. Guess I better go to hash now.
