July 10, 1943

We got our orders today and they say report to U.S. They are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Boy, I mean I was relieved when I read those things.

We got our priority for a plane ride today. They told us we would probably get to go all the way to the U.S. by plane. We are leaving for Marakesh in the morning.
