We went to Gerbini A/D Sicily today. We had to turn back due to a bad engine. The rest of them turned back near Malta. Weather over the target was very poor.

The 2nd group was attacked by about 100 German & Italian fighters. They knocked down 17 of them & lost 1 Fort.
