April 22, 1943

Today has been another bad rainy day. We didn’t get on a mission. I’m kinda glad to see these rainy days ’cause that means a day of rest. Guess I should wanna go all time, bud I just ain’t eager to go any more. I’m tired of combat. Wish I could get a nice easy ground job for the duration. I don’t like flying at all. Why did I join the Air Corps? It’s a mystery to me.
