May 27, 1943

Went to Constantine this afternoon. Just sit around up there and drank beer. Nothing to do anywhere you go. Gee, I’m ready for a rest at home.

Well we finally got a hint as to what’s to happen to the 50 mission boys. Two of them got orders to report to Rabat to an O.T.O. Best the biggest majority of them stay right here in Africa & do such stuff as that. That’s all we can expect from the bunch higher up. May 27 comp
